Max 800 Series Gateways

The Max 800 series of gateways allows you to make up to 24 simultaneous low-cost long distance calls - inbound and outbound - using your broadband Internet connection - at cents a minute.

This rack-mountable device needs only a single Ethernet connection to handle the task. It's no accident that the voice quality from this gateway series is stellar. Each box uses a variety of proprietary Quality of Service (QoS) enhancements, including:

- G.168 echo cancellation
- Voice Activity Detection (VAD)
- Comfort Noise Generation (CNG) and
- Dynamic jitter buffer control

Ideally suited to medium and large businesses, these devices connect directly to already installed telephone key systems and PBXs, for the ultimate in convenience and so that users have nothing new to learn.
